Measuring Advice

We intend for our website to be simple to use. Therefore try not to think of it as too complicated. When measuring your picture just measure both the height and width from edge to edge in millimeters and take a note of those measurements, then enter these measurements in the two size fields on our website homepage and let us and our website do the rest. The following rules apply to the terms used on our website and your order confirmation:

Frame Size:

The frame size relates to the internal size of the frame, i.e. what fits inside the frame such as the glazing, backing and your picture. It does not relate to the external frame size nor does it relate to the actual visible area from the front of the frame. If you order a frame 500mm X 400mm we will manufacture the frame to take a picture size 500mm X 400mm plus a small movement allowance of approxiametely 2mm.

Image Size:

The image size relates to the internal cut out of the mount. We will always cut the mount 2mm smaller all round than the displayed size to ensure your picture doesn't fall through the middle. If you enter your sizes as 300mm X 400mm we will cut the mount to have an internal cut out of 296mm X 396mm. When ordering a mount the frame size is automatically adjusted depending on how wide you set the mount.

Delivery Costs & Times

• All orders upto £300 in value are usually despatched within 1 -3 full working days - subject to stock availability.
• All delivery charges are calculated automatically by our website during the checkout procedure.
• All charges are clearly displayed before you are obilgated to make a purchase.
• We are not liable for any losses caused due to a delayed delivery.
• All deliveries will be made Monday to Friday(Saturday Optional), 8am - 8pm.
• We do not offer a timed delivery service.

England, Wales and Most of Scotland

Flat rate of £5.95 excluding VAT for all deliveries to addresses in England, Wales and Most of Scotland. Sent via a Next Day Service, but please allow upto 2 days for delivery.

Saturday delivery is also available at £9.95 excluding VAT for all deliveries to addresses in England, Wales and Most of Scotland. Orders will be despatched on the Friday for delivery on Saturday. We will despatch all orders that are placed on Tuesday or before on Friday. Orders that are placed on either Wednesdays. Thurdays or Fridays may not be despatched until the following Saturday.

Remote Scotland, UK Isles, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland

Delivery charges start at £12.95 excluding VAT for deliveries to addresses in Remote Scotland, UK Isles, Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland. Transit time 1-3 days.

Collect from Bedford or Kettering.

Flat rate of £2.00 excluding VAT if you opt to collect from either our Bedford Workshop of Kettering Retail Shop. Charges cover our packaging and service costs.

Delivery Terms

Important - Please Read

• Our delivery charges are for two delivery attempts to the address supplied only.
• Additional fees WILL apply if you order is returned to us after two failed delivery attempts.
• Additional fees may apply if you supply an incorrect or incomplete delivery address.

Free Delivery Offer

We guarantee to despatch all orders upto £300 in value within 1-3 full working days.

If we are unable to meet these deadlines we will refund all delivery charges, subject to the following conditions:

• We must despatch within 3 full working days, the first working day being the first working day after placing the order.
• Working days are Monday - Friday, we do not class weekends or Bank Holidays as working days.
• Orders over £300 in value will be negotiated individually.
• The day of despatch is classed as the day we assign a courier to collect the parcel from our premises.
• We are not responsible for any delays beyond our control including delays caused by our courier.
• If you opt for a Saturday delivery this may delay the despatch of the goods.

Stock Availability Dates

• Each picture frame moulding display includes a stock checker program that will advise if the product is in stock.
• Stock levels are constantly changing and the availability is updated regularly but is not 100% guaranteed.
• If we don't have the required stock to fulfill any order we will offer you an alternative, a refund or a delayed delivery date.

What's included in the price you pay?

The following items are included as standard with every picture frame we supply:

  Crystal Clear Acrylic Glazing supplied as standard unless you choose to upgrade.
  2.5mm MDF backing board.
  Flexible tabs so you can easily fit your picture at home - Wood Frames Only.
  Removeable corner brackets so you can easily fit your picture at home - Aluminium Frames Only.
  Suitable hanging fixtures so your frame can be hung either landscape or portrait.
  Express 1-3 day despatch guarantee - no surcharges required.

Refund, Exchange & Cancellation Policy

• All picture frames are made to customer specification. We are therefore unable to offer a refund or replacement on any correctly supplied product. Our refund policy meets the requirements of consumer law for distance selling when items have been manufactured to your specifications.
• All picture frame measurements are calculated from the sizes the customer enters on our website. Our website cannot modify or change the measurements your enter. We will only supply a product to the measurements you have given us - we cannot offer a refund/exchange or rectify any mistakes we are not responsible for.
• UK law states we have to offer a 7 day cooling off period for items we sell that we DO NOT manufacture to customer specifications. To comply with this law you may return any item within our Tapes & Accessories section. Postage will not be refunded.
• You are unable to cancel any custom picture frame order after we have begun work on it. This may range from 1 minute to 3 days. Providing we have manufactured and despatched your order within the agreed time limits you have no right to cancel for any reason.

Important Store Policies

• Any picture frame made to customer specification is not refundable.
• You may not cancel any order after work has commenced.
• The images and descriptions used on our website are done so in good faith and in our opinion offer a good representation of the actual product. We cannot legislate for your opinion or the calibration of your monitor. Therefore we encourage you to order moulding samples before placing an order. We cannot offer a refund if the frame does not meet your requirements or if your opinion of the moulding description differs from ours.
• Damage must be reported within 48 hours of receipt. Receipt of the goods is deemed to be when the courier received a signature.
• The delivery charge is for two delivery attempts during working hours Monday - Friday only and to the delivery address supplied at the time of order. Additional fees will apply for more than two delivery attempts or changes to the delivery address.
